The Annual Congregational Meeting to be held on Thursday, May 28, 2026, at 6:30 PM at the synagogue. We will also Zoom the meeting for those unable to attend. Attending in person is strongly preferred. The Zoom address will be sent out in an email at a later date.
The purpose of the meeting will include 3 items:
1. Voting for a new slate of Board officers and Trustees for the 2026 – 2027 year.
2. Review and vote on the fiscal 2026 – 2027 budget.
3. Approve the expenditure of funds for a new roof.
The roof on the main part of our synagogue is over 30 years old. The newer roof is over 20 years old. Both have been patched over the years. The roof is leaking, and we have black mold. This is a health hazard and must be addressed. We are still in the process of getting quotes and negotiating prices, so the amount in the budget is a worst case estimate.
The proposed slate of officers is attached, and the budget will be sent out by Sunday. Copies of all relevant materials will be available at the meeting.
It is necessary to complete this business in order to continue our activities. These issues affect everyone!
If for some reason you are unable to attend or join via ZOOM , a proxy ballot is available by calling Bree at the office. This ballot must be returned to the office by Thursday, May 28th. Please try to attend this important meeting; a quorum is necessary for all votes. Thank you!
