Join us for a powerful evening of remembrance and resilience as we commemorate Kristallnacht -the “Night of Broken Glass”-and stand together in solidarity with Israel, featuring guest speaker Ivan Vamos. RSVP required
Our featured speaker, Holocaust survivor Ivan Vamos, will share his extraordinary story — a journey of survival, courage, and rebuilding from the ashes of war. Born in Budapest in 1938, Ivan survived the Holocaust as a young child, enduring months in hiding after his father was taken away. His story is one of determination and faith — and a reminder that even in the darkest moments, the human spirit can persevere. “As time passes, fewer Holocaust survivors remain to share their experiences,” Ivan reflects. “Hearing their stories now ensures they are preserved and passed on to future generations.” Now more than ever, as we witness rising antisemitism and the pain of conflict in Israel, coming together to hear these stories matters deeply. Let us stand as one community — to honor the past, strengthen our present, and renew our hope for the future. All are welcome | Admission is free. RSVP today through Clifton Park Chabad to reserve your seat.
