A New Discussion Group from, Brenda Sugarman
On Tuesdays, we meet at Brenda’s home to continue our discussion of the prayers we say for Kabbalat Shabbat. This week we looked into the meaning of V’shamru, and read various translations and interpretations of this prayer. Basically, this prayer describes the meaning of Shabbat and has an upbeat melody. Participants also discussed various ways in which people observe Shabbat.
